RORY BERRY & THE BERRY FAMILY

​

Little boys. Full of energy, funny and a little bit cheeky too...bursting into every day as an great adventure, ...and this was certainly the case for Rory Berry. Until his parents Josh and Gemma and big brother Hayden noticed that something wasn’t quite  right. 

 

Rory was tired, weak and off-balance. A single trip to the doctor, resulted numerous tests and scans and then within 24 hours the unimaginable..Their precious little boy in surgery and diagnosed with a rare form of paediatric brain cancer.   

 

Brave little Rory was in for the fight with his life, enduring  68 rounds of chemotherapy. A true warrior. This is Rory’s story...

Despite the incredible pressures their family is facing along with taking care of Rory and all of his appointments, holding down jobs, his parents Josh and Gemma, and older brother Hayden have gone above and beyond.

 

Even amongst their own challenges, their resilience has shined as they help others by raising money for the RCD Foundation. Even running marathons as the team Rory’s Warriors. 

 

The team at Brave Enough honour the courage and resilience of the Berry family in the face of adversity. Our local community helped us honour Rory and his family, and give them some downtime and something extra to smile about!
